23.0 Multimedia

  • In this chapter you will learn how to display and print finished multimedia objects in a PictureBox, MovieBox or DrawingArea in Gambas.
  • The Picture and Image classes are compared and margins around graphics and text in graphics are discussed.
  • The classes Font, Fonts and the FontChooser component are also introduced.
  • Another section is dedicated to the creation, editing and display of images in different graphic formats. You can use the smallest images as cursor graphics.
  • The last section is dedicated to the topic of sound and video, in which the areas of application of the SoundPlayer and VideoPlayer components for tones, sounds and videos are discussed.
