14.0 Keyboard and mouse

The two input devices, keyboard and mouse, have been standard on computers for many years.
In this chapter you will learn about the use of keyboard and mouse under Gambas.

  • First the three classes Key, Mouse and Cursor are introduced with the most important properties, methods and events as well as the constants used.
  • Then projects are described in which these above classes are also used.
  • A special position is taken by the chapter dedicated to creating a keystroke or a combination of keys (→ Chapter 15.6 Class Desktop (gb.qt4)).
