In the chapter program development you will learn about the advantages of visual programming and the flexible project management as well as aspects of program maintenance, which also include the use of program help. Further sections explain how to develop and test a program. Error handling begins with an analysis of error categories, describes the error analysis at the time of development of a program (debugger) and refers to strategies for recognizing, intercepting and avoiding errors. This chapter also shows you how to create repositories to share projects with developers.
The way in which you can distribute programs - especially to those who have not installed Gambas on the Linux system - is summarized in → chapter 2.6 Sharing Gambas programs, which deals with the creation of installation packages.
