28.0 Compression, Encryption and Decryption
Compression and de-compression of files always comes into play when the volume of data exceeds a certain limit. The topic of encrypting and decrypting data and files is aimed at all those who value
- the security of data, and
- wanting to trust a data source.
Gambas provides you with different classes to compress, decompress, encrypt and decrypt data. The chapter supports you with many projects, each of which implements a certain part of the theory, as shown for example in the following two pictures.
If the plaintext password is not a strong password, this is signalled. Then the criteria for a strong password are displayed:
